Our transport system is designed for fully automatic, horizontal fanning (in and out) of flat glass panes up to a maximum size of 2400 x 1200 mm. The applicable pane width depends on the glass thickness per pane. In the basic version of a transport box, 47 horizontal compartments are provided, and the glass is horizontal loaded with a vertical distance from glass to glass of 16 mm. Multiple glass pcs can be loaded and stored behind each other per compartment.
Our glass box transport system does NOT need any tilt-table or stacking or de-stacking device - nor does it need robots – our ultimate goal is: No suction cups on the glass surface!
Special advantage of our system:
- We never have any relative movement between glass & storage compartment
- There is no relative movement between the glass and the conveyor belt at any time
- Each glass plate is transported into the box and deposited individually
- Each box has a fully automatic glass width adjustment, e.g. from cutting system to box
- Fully autom. box transfer from processing-to-processing machine without any
human interference – fully automatic width adjustment from box to processing machine
and vice versa. - Multiple panes (depending on length) can be fanned in- or of a compartment
- Glass transport itself is controlled in such a way that there is no “relative movement”, i.e. glass
pane slipping on conveyor belt 100% avoided - Full control box content from process-to-process machine by integrated chip control!
- 100% warehouse monitoring with storage location monitoring
- Fully automatic communication between i.e. glass cutting and transport box
- Fully automatic communication between i.e. transport box & following grinding process
- No intermediate glass layers required = very high material savings (e.g. cork pads)
